Fan Late Night began with Fan Late Night Frontpage. Today it was announced the Broncos are expected to sign former Chiefs RT, Donald Stephenson. The guys discussed what this will mean for the Broncos offensive line going forward. Peyton Manning made $248 Million playing football not including sponsors. Do James and Josh think that Manning would have continued playing had there been a suitor? Also QB Brock Osweiler has yet respond to an offer made by the Broncos with Adam Schefter reporting that the Houston Texans are very interested in Osweiler. How likely is it that Osweiler returns to the Broncos? Also today the Broncos made several cuts including TE Owen Daniels, OL Louis Vasquez, and long snapper Aaron Brewer. The guys discussed what these cuts mean for the Broncos going into next season. The conversation then moved to former Broncos DT Malik Jackson who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. What is his worth to the Jaguars? James mentioned that things are always changing and it’s hard to keep teams together. Cameron Wolfe from the Denver Post joined the show to discuss the Broncos and NFL free agency. James and Josh then offered their reactions to Cameron Wolfe’s comments. The second hour of Fan Late Night kicked off with the guys continuing the Broncos and their free agency situation. How much will the Broncos miss guys like Malik Jackson and Owen Daniels next season? The guys also discussed WR Calvin Johnson who announced his retirement. James and Josh discussed who they would rather have at the wide receiver position between Johnson and other top tier retired wide receivers retired. There are several players, aside from Calvin Johnson, that will eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame including Peyton Manning and Marshawn Lynch among others. Is Calvin Johnson a first ballot Hall of Famer or does he even deserve to be in the Hall of Fame at all? Win the Watercooler featuring amazing stats from around the world of sports. The final hour started with James and Josh discussing the Denver Nuggets. Both guys mentioned that Nuggets coach Mike Malone has changed the culture of this team in the locker room. Also the growth of guys like Emmanuel Mudiay and Gary Harris has helped tremendously on the court. James and Josh then moved on to the NFL, and specifically Seattle Seahawks WR Ricardo Lockette who reported today that he nearly died after being injured in a game during the 2015 season. James and Josh discussed whether or not a player will actually die on an NFL football field, and whether or not the NFL is ready to deal with something like that. TEXT OF THE NIGHT!
