Ryan Fitzpatrick fires back at Aqib Talib in humorous video after Bo Nix criticism

Former NFL QB Ryan Fitzpatrick had a lot to say about Bo Nix after the Broncos escaped the Seahawks last Thursday night.

Fitzpatrick, on the Prime Video set, called Nix “almost disrespectful to the quarterback position” and described his effort as “garbage” in an emotional tirade that’s gone viral.

Ex-Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib then roasted Fitzpatrick, using a bunch of profanity while dissing on Fitzpatrick’s career that saw him bounce around the league.

Well, Fitzpatrick might have gotten the last laugh, as he responded to Talib with a humorous video that has more than 3.5 million views on X.

Ryan Fitzpatrick jokes he did indeed play 17 years in the NFL in his fake phone call with Talib. The video is edited together remarkably well.

Fitzpatrick plays to the camera, acting surprised the Bills actually won 19 games during his tenure in Buffalo. He adds that he almost “sniffed” a playoff game with the Jets in 2015 when they were 10-5 and fell just short of the postseason.

Talib keeps saying in his rant that “you suck,” something the QB-turned-analyst shrugs off with amazing facial expressions.

Ryan Fitzpatrick concludes by jesting “this really has me questioning all my life decisions” then ends the made up conversation with Talib.

Look, Talib is beloved in Broncos Country, a Super Bowl 50 champion who’s one of the greatest corners in franchise history. But no one thinks Nix is performing well enough right now.

In fact, on Monday morning, Sean Payton had to tell the media he’s not benching Nix after six brutal weeks. That even being a legitimate question is depressing for fans.

The Broncos will play the Cardinals on Sunday in Arizona and a great game from Nix is desperately needed. If not, Ryan Fitzpatrick will have even more ammo as both the local and national media continue to pile on.
