Courtland Sutton compares Bo Nix to a mountain lion pacing at the zoo

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton should be Bo Nix’s hype man.

He’ll have Broncos Country ready to run through a wall with the analogy he used on Wednesday.

Sutton met with the media ahead of Broncos and Chiefs in Week 1 and was asked about Nix’s return after breaking his ankle in the playoffs last year and two offseason surgeries.

“I’m excited. I’m a little nervous for everybody else. Just because, he’s a competitor,” Sutton said. “Seeing the way that things ended last year, and understanding the type of player he is and the competitor he is. I was just excited to see him get out there and go throw the ball around in the preseason a little bit.”

Courtland Sutton said he’s looking forward to watching Nix play on Monday Night Football in Kansas City, as is the rest of the NFL world. It’ll be his first time in real game action since the thrilling win against the Bills, but then heartbreaking postgame news.

Sutton then gave an answer that’s sure to go viral.

“He’s like a mountain lion that’s in the zoo that’s just like pacing. I saw a mountain lion at the Colorado Zoo, he was just pacing back and forth. And I was like ‘ya’ll don’t want that boy to get out.’ It’s not going to be good. But that’s what Bo reminds me of, mentally you can tell he’s just like I’m ready to go do this,” Sutton said.

Courtland Sutton has seen a lot of bad QB play during his time in Denver.

Now, he’s got a great one in Nix, and he’s ready to watch what No. 10 will unleash on Kansas City and the rest of the league.
