It most likely won’t be wet this year at Opening Day when the Colorado Rockies begin their Coors Field slate on Friday, according to multiple forecasters.

Chris Bianchi from 9News, Ryan Fish from Denver 7 and the National Weather Service are all in agreement on a windy day with a high temperature in the mid to low 50s.

Bianchi says to expect a first pitch temperature of 52 degrees under mostly cloudy skies with wind gusts howling between 20 and 40 mph.

“Slight chance of showers later in the day but probably won’t impact the game,” Fish noted in his forecast.

The National Weather Service calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 56 degrees. Winds will be out of the west-northwest at 6 to 11 mph, increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
