Denver Broncos legend Champ Bailey will be in the house on Sunday.
Bailey has a special role before the Broncos and Patriots meet in the AFC Championship Game. He’ll be the “Alumni Flag Planter” getting the crowd fired up moments before kickoff.

Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe had this honor last week against the Bills in the divisional round. Sharpe stuck around and watched the epic game with the likes of Peyton Manning, Terrell Davis, DeMarcus Ware, Mark Schlereth and more.
Surely, a ton of prominent Broncos alumni will be at Empower Field at Mile High this weekend, but landing Champ Bailey for this is awesome.
It’s a big game, so they’re bringing out the big stars. Bailey, like Sharpe, is a Hall of Famer. He spent 10 seasons in Denver from 2004-2013 and had a ridiculous 34 interceptions in a Broncos uniform, including 10 during the 2006 season.
Bailey made 12 Pro Bowls in his career with Washington and Denver and was an All-Pro seven different times, including three first-team selections. He also had a very famous interception in the playoffs against the Patriots (and Tom Brady) of all teams.
Broncos Country has big love for perhaps the greatest cornerback in NFL history, so it’ll be awesome to have him in the building.
An already electric atmosphere will get taken to a new level once Champ Bailey does his duties.
