Bo Nix made history in Chiefs win, reaching impressive milestones in two seasons

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix is a winner.

He’s proven that through his first two seasons in the NFL.

In his rookie year, Nix helped the Broncos to a 10-7 record and their first playoff berth since 2015. And in his sophomore campaign, Nix is taking things to new heights.

Denver beat Kansas City 20-13 on Christmas night, moving to 13-3 on the season and one win away from the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.

Nix threw for a touchdown and ran for another. He also led the game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter, hooking up with running back RJ Harvey for the decisive touchdown.

And in the process, Bo Nix reached some impressive milestones in his young NFL career.

In tonight's win over the Chiefs, Broncos QB Bo Nix became the ONLY QB in NFL history with 20+ wins, 7,500+ pass yards and 50+ pass TD in his first two seasons.

With his passing touchdown in the game, Bo Nix becomes just the third QB in NFL history to record 3,500 passing yards and 25 passing touchdowns in each of his first two seasons, joining Justin Herbert and Peyton Manning

Being the only QB in the history of the league to throw for more than 7,500 yards, 50 touchdowns and earn 20-plus wins combined in year one and year two is crazy. Bo Nix has come sprinting out of the gates, even if he was the sixth quarterback taken in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Also, being in the same sentence as Peyton Manning is always a good thing. Nix joined him and Justin Herbert as two of the most consistent QBs ever in their first two years in the league.

Jayden Daniels was great last season, but battled injuries this year. Drake Maye and Caleb Williams have improved greatly in their second seasons, but neither was as solid as Nix as a rookie. His resume is the most complete from that loaded quarterback class.

The Broncos have been blessed with the likes of John Elway and Manning over their existence. Now, Bo Nix looks like the next great QB to lead Denver — and hopefully it results in the franchise’s fourth Lombardi Trophy and more.
