Rockies announce revamped schedule for 2023 season

Aug 24, 2022, 11:47 AM

Mark your calendars; 2023 MLB Opening Day in Denver is on April 6, when the Colorado Rockies will host the Washington Nationals.

The Rockies opened up their season a few days earlier, on March 30 in San Diego.

Some of the highlights of the 162-game schedule released on Wednesday include the Rockies playing every club in MLB for the first time and a Yankees trip to Coors Field.

The schedule features just 13 games against each National League West rival, down from nearly 20 a season. That will be two series at home and two on the road, one home and one road series against each NL East and Central team, and at least one home or road series with each American League opponent.

The whole schedule can be found below or at Rockies.com/schedule.
