Jamal Murray’s summer workout tour hit Denver this week as the Nuggets star guard joined in on Denver’s Summer League practices.

Murray was spotted at Team Canada practice last week and is expected to join the Road Warriors at some point soon.

In Denver, Murray was caught playing in a full-strength scrimmage on Tuesday. He followed it up by showing out for the cameras on Wednesday.

“Jamal was able to play some five-on-five yesterday,” Michael Malone said. “That was probably the most serious five-on-five he’s played since he tore his ACL in Golden State. I love seeing him on the court, his confidence and working back to being the Jamal Murray we all know he can be.”

Murray missed all of last season with a torn ACL. He was injured at the end of the 2020-21 season.

The Nuggets star guard is expected to be healthy for opening night this coming season. In Murray’s last full season he averaged 21 points, five assists and four assists.
