Nuggets announce summer league roster, schedule

Jul 1, 2022, 2:24 PM | Updated: 2:30 pm

The Denver Nuggets are getting ready for next week’s NBA Summer League, announcing their roster and game times on Friday.

Featured on the roster are all three of the Nuggets selections from last week’s NBA Draft. Christian Braun, Payton Watson and Ismaël Kamagate will suit up as well as two-way contract signee Collin Gillespie.

Other notables on the roster include Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year Teddy Allen, who scored 37 points for the Aggies in a 70–63 upset win over fifth-seeded UConn in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, Duke’s Jack White and Michael Porter Jr.’s brother Jontay Porter.

The Nuggets roster is currently full but they have one two-way contract left to hand out and could pull back their qualifying offer from Vlatko Cančar if somebody really stands out.

Notably soon-to-be-second year player Bones Hyland is not on the roster after his standout first season.
