The Denver Broncos regular season schedule was revealed on Thursday night, but the team’s preseason schedule is now here as well.

This means that Russell Wilson’s “debut” as the Broncos QB will come at home on Aug. 13 against the Dallas Cowboys. Conventional wisdom says Wilson will play a series or two and maybe the whole first quarter. He’ll get more work when Denver travels to Buffalo the following weekend and then potentially against the Vikings at home on Aug. 27 as well.

The NFL ditched the fourth preseason game last year, so it’s unclear when teams will do their “dress rehearsal.” That will be a decision for new Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett.

While the preseason is fairly worthless, it will still be cool to see Wilson on the field and under center as the Broncos quarterback. With the regular season schedule loaded with primetime games, the whole country will get to see plenty of Denver’s new signal caller.

Let’s ride!
