The Broncos entered Sunday’s game against the Ravens without six starters. By the end of the game, they were down two more.

On Monday, Vic Fangio provided some updates on the injuries that were starting to pile up for Denver. He had some good news, some bad news and some no news after his team’s first loss of the season.

Teddy Bridgewater missed the second half with a concussion. His status for this coming Sunday in Pittsburgh remains unclear.

“I’m not sure yet,” Fangio said when asked about his starting quarterback. “He’s in the protocol, so the medical people will be in charge of that.”

Pat Surtain also missed snaps late due to a chest injury. He and punt returner Diontae Spencer both suffered the same fate against the Ravens. Both appear to be fine.

“Both of those will be a day-to-day thing,” Fangio explained.

Denver played without both of their starting guards on Sunday. Dalton Risner and Graham Glasgow were sidelined against the Ravens, but could play against the Steelers.

“I think Dalton, probably,” Fangio said. “I’m not sure on Graham yet.”

The Broncos could get another starter back, as well. Ronald Darby has been out since Week 1, but the cornerback is on the brink of returning.

“He’s eligible to return to practice and we’ll see where he’s at come Wednesday,” Fangio added.

As for the others, they remain out. Jerry Jeudy and Bradley Chubb will miss more time, while Josey Jewell is out for the season.
