Don’t let Debbie Downer spoil the Broncos 3-0 start to the season

Sep 28, 2021, 6:44 AM

The Broncos have started the 2021 season 3-0. All three wins have been dominant wins by double-digit points.

The defense has been elite. The offense has been steady and the confidence around this team has been higher than it’s been since Peyton Manning retired. Who cares if all three Broncos wins come against teams that are a combined 0-9?

The Broncos have three wins over three awful teams, and it doesn’t matter. You only play who they put in front of you, and the Broncos have taken care of business. You’re supposed to dominate bad teams, and the Broncos did just that.

Blowout wins are hard to come by in the NFL, let alone shut outs. The Broncos could not have been more impressive in their first three games.

It hasn’t all been perfect. The Broncos special teams still stink, their run game has not been what we thought so far, and Teddy Bridgewater has shown his limitations at times. However, this team has done what it needs to do and Broncos Country’s confidence should be high.

This is the NFL, most games are close, as the divide in talent is limited from team to team. Embrace this 3-0 start, and don’t let any Debbie Downer tell you otherwise.
