The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! High school sports continue to get more expensive, and DMac asks Al how these kids are supposed to pay for all their sports summer programs. Garett Bolles locks down an $11 million deal with the Denver Broncos, and Tyson Barrie hurts himself goofing around in a hotel room. Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post joins the show to discuss the precocious Rockies & awkward but not annoying Cubs fans.
The guys discuss Al’s golf game, where to get real good creole, and what makes Bubby Brister truly from Louisiana. Brandon Stokley sticks around to catch the guys up on what Peyton has been doing, and how fast he still is. Tyson Barrie hurt himself goofing around in a hotel room & is now out for the World Championships due to a leg laceration, and the guys debate whether the injury is a big deal, or just a speed bump in Barrie’s career.

The Cubs schedule certainly prompted sleep deprivation, but Patrick thinks the Rockies deserve more credit.
