Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post joins the show to discuss the precocious Rockies & awkward but not annoying Cubs fans. The Cubs schedule certainly prompted sleep deprivation, but Patrick thinks the Rockies deserve more credit. Having a veteran catcher like Ryan Hanigan at the plate to help young German Marquez factored in to his big performance yesterday, and Trevor Story lands on the DL with a little more serious situation than just ‘getting his head right.’ Tyler Anderson is also scratched for Jeff Hoffman, and Patrick talks about the upside in the Rockies young pitching staff.
