DENVER—The Denver Nuggets took the final step in celebrating their NBA title on Tuesday night, rasing a banner and getting championship rings in front of a sold-out Ball Arena.
From Nikola Jokic to Collin Gillespie the champs were given their jewelry one by one before the banner went up to the Ball Arena rafters. The team showed this video to the crowd and posted it on Twitter, with a close-up of the rings—with a blue and gold sparkle.

The Nuggets are taking on the Los Angeles Lakers after their big emotional time later in the night. But first it was massive cheers for Jokic, Jamal Murray and more.
The rings were made by Jason of Beverly Hills, who aimed to capture the story of the franchise and its players. The ring changes colors at the top of the ring and a retractable complement has the banner on it.
“I really wanted to make the ring for the Nuggets; challenging my team to come up with features we knew others just wouldn’t think of that would help set our design apart. We got player feedback during summer league and were able to include two new design elements that mike this ring stand out from anything ever seen before in championship jewelry,” Jason Arasheben said.
There are 16 carats of diamonds, rubies and blue sapphires. The 16 represents the wins it took for the Nuggets to reach the NBA’s mountaintop. Both the inner and outer rings feature golden nugget texture and the team’s Bring It In slogan was added to the ring as well.
The playoff series records, a single row of 15 stones with world champions written and 24 points of yellow diamonds are also on the ring. As well as 89 points of red rubies to remember the 89 points Denver held Miami to in Game 5 of the Finals.
Aaron Gordon said to the crowd after getting his ring, “Thank you for joining us all season long on our road to repeat.”
Michael Malone echoed those words, “Last year was amazing, we got one ring… let’s get another. Love you!”
It was one more look back at the 16-4 playoff run that won Denver its first-ever hoops title. A team that will forever be remembered in the Mile High City and they’ll now have the rings to prove it. Ball Arena peaked in noise and a banner ascending to its permanent home.
