The Denver Nuggets welcomed some stars from the CU Buffs football program at opening night, including WR / CB Travis and QB Shedeur Sanders.
The Nuggets were getting ready to receive their rings and raise their first championship banner before hosting the Lakers when the guys were spotted. Of course the two biggest player names from Boulder were going to be at Ball Arena.

Even though the 4-3 Buffs are coming off an excruciating 2OT loss to Stanford, the Sanders and Hunter will always draw a crowd. The Nuggets have plenty of star-power, but CU football isn’t far behind.
Just look at the TV ratings so far this season, as people can’t get enough of the Buffs. And even when you put them in the same building with the likes of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, they’ll still get plenty of attention.
(Update 6:38 p.m.) –
It looks like Coach Prime didn’t want to let the kids have all the fun! He’s sitting courtside and was featured during a timeout in the second quarter.
