Deion Sanders won’t be happy with Buffs start time against Beavers

If you’re headed to Folsom Field for the Colorado Buffaloes homecoming against a heck of a team in Oregon State, be ready to stay until midnight.
Deion Sanders’ crew got another wild kick-off time for a home game as it was announced on Monday that the Nov. 4 clash will kick off at 8 p.m. on ESPN. More likely, the game will kick off after 8:20 p.m. on the four-letter network as have the other two games with that start time in Boulder thus far this season.
Coach Prime recently spoke out against the late times saying, “These are the dumbest thing ever. Stupidest thing ever invented in life. Who wants to stay up until 8 o’clock for a darn game?”
The Buffaloes now have one home game left, Nov. 11 against Arizona to start at a decent time. All five home games to this point have either started at 10 a.m. or 8 p.m.
Colorado’s last game was an 8 p.m. start against Stanford that started well but ended with the worst collapse in school history, losing 46-43. Since the Buffaloes have been on bye and will face the UCLA Bruins in California this coming Saturday. That game will have prime afternoon billing on ABC, as have some other road games this season. UCLA is ranked No. 23 and the Buffs are 16-point underdogs.
Meanwhile, the Beavers have climbed to No. 11 in the polls and are likely to be ranked by the College Football Playoff committee the week of the matchup with Colorado.
Because of Pac-12 rules, it’s expected Colorado’s game against Arizona will be decently timed and on the Pac-12 Network. The good news for Buffaloes fans is the team is headed to the Big 12 next season where no conference game has kicked off after 6 p.m. so far this fall.
