Amazon releases trailer for upcoming docuseries focused on Coach Prime

Want an up-close look at the new coach of the Colorado Buffaloes? You’ll have your chance later this month when a docuseries focused on Deion Sanders time coaching Jackson State premiers.
Prime Video announced on Thursday that the four-part docuseries titled “Coach Prime,” will debut on Dec. 29.
The series follows the JSU Tigers at practice and games, in the locker room, off the field, and in the community, amid the team’s 2022 season. Coach Prime welcomed standout Travis hunter, welcomed college gameday and led the team to another Celebration Bowl.

The show is executive produced by SMAC Entertainment’s Michael Strahan, Constance Schwartz-Morini, and FredAnthony Smith. Previous episodes of “Coach Prime” streamed on Barstool Sports.
“I am honored and elated to share this inside look at how our program made history as JSU’s first undefeated regular season football team,” Sanders said in a news release. “This group of young men are smart, tough, fast and disciplined with character, and together, we were able to dominate all season long.
Sanders is finishing his season with Jackson State this weekend when the Tigers will face North Carolina Central in the Celebration Bowl in Atlanta.
“You’ll see it all this season — the highs and lows and the way this community came together,” Coach Prime said. “This is the most resilient and inspiring group of people I have ever met. I can’t say enough about the people of Jackson.”
Sanders is one of the greatest athletes of all-time and has been successful at just about everything he’s done. He now faces the huge task of turning around the 1-11 CU Buffs.
