Did the Avs get Blink-182 back together? They’re coming to Denver in 2023

Blink-182 had a moment in the hockey world and in Denver this summer, becoming the band who authored the song of the Colorado Avalanche’s Stanley Cup run.

While that’s no small thing, fans have been missing the band for years. They did not stay together for the kids, and the main trio hasn’t been together since 2015. But now, after the Avs were crowned champions and the streets of Denver sang “say it ain’t so,” the band is doing anything but going home. Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker are not only hitting the road, but the three are also dropping an album.

It might be a little bit crazed to say this brought back one of the more popular bands of the 90s and 2000s, but the band certainly knew about it. They even reached out to congratulate Colorado on the triumph.

The band is dropping a new single on Friday, and tour tickets will go on sale on October 17.

You have to think that the boys’ group chat was popping off with clips of people happy singing one of their songs, and maybe, just maybe, that helped get the band back together.

The tour kicks off on March 11 in Tijuana, Mexico. They’ll visit Denver on July 3 and perform at Ball Arena in a concert that will no doubt see the band rocking some Avs gear.
