Von Miller’s new team squared off against his old team this past weekend with the Buffalo Bills thumping the Denver Broncos in a preseason contest.
Miller sat to rest, as did many Broncos starters. But Miller was still a key storyline, running out on the field to comfort a few injured Broncos.
On Monday, the Broncos released a behind-the-scenes video that showed Miller mingling with his old team’s players. It seemed to be all love, despite the star’s somewhat ugly exit from Denver.

In the clip, Miller told new Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson that he’s in a good spot. Earlier this offseason, he accidentally said “we” when referring to the Wilson trade. Miller changed his pronouns, using they instead of we. He did say it will be “love forever for Broncos Country” while holding up a game-worn Brandon McManus jersey.
Miller spent a decade in orange and blue, winning a Super Bowl. He was dealt to the Rams last season then signing with the Bills this winter.
