Let the fun begin!
NFL free agency officially opened on Monday morning with the “legal tampering” period getting going at 10:00 a.m. MST. Teams can now agree to deals with free agents, but they can’t officially sign them until 2:00 p.m. MST on Wednesday afternoon.
Regardless, this thing is off and running, and 9NEWS Broncos insider Mike Klis has already linked two names to the Broncos.

Recently released Packer OL Billy Turner worth monitoring as possible Broncos answer at right tackle. Turner well-versed in Hackett/Outten West Coast blocking system. #9sports

Gregory’s career got off to a rocky start, but he has 9.5 sacks the last two seasons and has only played in 50 career games. There’s a lot of gas left in that tank for the former Cowboy.
Turner, meanwhile, has already been a member of the Broncos. He played with the team for three games in 2016, one game in 2017 and then all 16 in 2018. He started 11 of those that season for Denver. There’s obviously a connection there with two former Packers coaches as well and the Broncos do have a need at right tackle, despite agreeing to a new deal with Calvin Anderson over the weekend.
Denver has also been linked to Von Miller and Chandler Jones, and of course acquired Russell Wilson in a blockbuster trade last week.
Stay tuned, because the next 72 to 96 hours should be wild.
