The Broncos just pulled off a blockbuster trade for Russell Wilson

Mar 8, 2022, 11:56 AM | Updated: 12:50 pm

Forget Aaron Rodgers, the Denver Broncos just pulled off a stunning move.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Broncos are acquiring Super Bowl winning QB Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks in one of the largest trades in NFL history.

While total compensation is unclear, Drew Lock will reportedly be included in the deal, as will fan favorite Shelby Harris and multiple draft picks.

What a historic day in Broncos Country!

(Update 12:15 p.m.):

Longtime NFL reporter Dov Kleiman is reporting Broncos tight end Noah Fant will be included in the deal and also has details on the draft compensation.

It’s a lot of assets, but the QB drought since Peyton Manning retired is finally over.

(Update 12:49 p.m.):

Shelby Harris tweeted a brief, but what appears to be heartfelt goodbye.
