The Denver Broncos have made good on their promise to bring in competition for young gunslinger Drew Lock, trading a sixth-round pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for veteran quarterback Teddy Bridgewater on Wednesday.
What Bridgewater’s role is with Denver — veteran backup, bridge quarterback or starter — remains to be seen. And per multiple reports, Bridgewater’s acquisition doesn’t preclude the Broncos from drafting another quarterback
