Ryan Fitzpatrick is officially off the market.
The former Miami Dolphins quarterback has signed a one-year deal with the Washington Football Team worth $10 million, according to NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Former Dolphins’ QB Ryan Fitzpatrick reached agreement with the Washington Football Team on a one-year deal worth $10 million that could grow to $12 million with incentives, per source. Fitzpatrick is expected to head to camp as the starter, with competition from Taylor Heinicke.

Woody Paige reported in February that the Broncos had “spoken to” Fitzpatrick with the idea that the veteran quarterback would pair well with Drew Lock.
Senior Broncos writer John Clayton echoed the same sentiment, writing that the Broncos should go after Fitzpatrick for the sake of development.
“Adding a veteran like Fitzpatrick to challenge him could strengthen their team in 2021, while not eliminating them from a potential blockbuster for Watson in August,” Clayton wrote.
Fitzpatrick played in nine games for the Dolphins in 2020, starting seven. He registered a 68.5 completion percentage, passed for over 2,000 yards with 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
The quarterback carousel never stops turning and it looks as though the Broncos are “all in” on Lock for another season.
