Pritchard & Cecil – 05/01/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio. Tuesday’s show the guys talk about if the Broncos missed out on anyone in the draft, what the Broncos should do with Shane Ray’s option and which team in the NFL thought about moving up in the draft to take Baker Mayfield.
Hour one Pritchard & Cecil talk about the Broncos first round pick this year linebacker Bradley Chubb. Pritchard & Cecil break down Bradley Chubb and what his role should be on this team. What is the benchmark for this “generational” player in his rookie year? The guys look at how the Broncos can best use Chubb in his rookie year. Then, the guys talk about another Broncos rookie this season, this time in the running back room. Did the Broncos upgrade at running back? (Royce Freeman) Should he start right away? Or will he battle with Devontae Booker for the lead back role? The fellas weigh in on how the Broncos might look this year at the running back position.
Also, apparently another team was willing to trade up to the number two spot in the draft to take quarterback Baker Mayfield if he was available. The team that may have been willing to will shock you.

Pritchard & Cecil talk about the Broncos draft class this year and which prospects if any the team may have missed out on. Mike Pritchard explains why although there was a few interesting prospects the Broncos passed on, the team overall did a good job with their draft class. Cecil Lammey agrees with Pritch as the guys go through this year’s interesting prospects for the Broncos in 2018. The guys also look at this rookie class coming into the league and which players have a chance to get on the field quicker this season than the other rookies. Mike Pritchard also breaks down some of the Broncos new offensive pieces this year.
Plus, the guys talk about a player that the Broncos should think of trading for right now. The guys go over a player right now that the Broncos could potentially trade for. Who is it? And why should the Broncos go after this player? Pritchard & Cecil break that down.

Mike Pritchard further goes on to explain why Chubb gives the Broncos a ton of options with Shane Ray. Then Cecil Lammey looks ahead to how the Broncos down the line might be able to use the franchise tag on Chubb if he turns into another franchise player for the Broncos.
