Apr 23, 2018, 12:38 PM | Updated: 12:39 pm

Pritchard & Cecil – 04/23/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio. Monday’s show the guys talk about draft strategy for the Broncos Thursday, how the Broncos have fared in the past five years drafting and the possibility of the Broncos drafting Saquon Barkley.

Listen to hour one here!

Hour one Pritchard & Cecil talk about the first round of the draft for the Broncos and some possible draft strategy. Mike Pritchard does not want the Broncos to trade out of the number five pick. He thinks they need great players now and the best way to do that is to draft a player in the top ten of the draft. The guys then go further into who they want to see taken by the Broncos if they stay at number five overall. Cecil Lammey wants Saquon Barkley and thinks he is the best option at five if he’s still available. Will he be there? If not, is he worth moving up for? The guys talk about that and get into how much Barkley would help the team if he’s drafted at number five.

Plus, Gary Kubiak is back with the Broncos. How much will Elway lean on his input? The guys talk about how much say they feel Kubiak will have in the draft this year. The guys also talk about which player both Kubiak and & Elway would most agree on. The guys break that down and look at some news from over the weekend from the NFL.

Listen to hour two here!

Hour two Pritchard & Cecil talk about which prospect in the draft would best satisfy Broncos Country. The guys look at which players they feel would make Broncos Country walk away from the first round of the draft feeling good about what the Broncos did at number five overall. The guys break that down and get into some more first round draft discussion for the Broncos. Pritchard & Cecil talk about the quarterbacks in the draft and which one should be considered more of a John Elway type of quarterback. Mike Pritchard gives his answer first followed by Cecil Lammey. The guys also jump into Josh Rosen’s game and if he is being mislabeled right now.

Also, Pritchard & Cecil are joined by Patrick Saunders from The Denver Post. Patrick Saunders wraps up this past weekends series with the Cubs for the Rockies and looks ahead with the teams rotation to the Padres series this week. Listen to the full interview here!

Listen to hour three here!

Hour three Pritchard & Cecil talk about an article from The New York Post ranking the NFL teams and how they have drafted the last five years. The guys break down if they agree with where the article and paper has the Broncos ranked. The fellas also get into how the Broncos can upgrade their team in the draft this year and how they can change the national perspective of the teams drafting ability if they have a successful draft. Pritchard & Cecil run through the list of players that would make sense for the Broncos at number five overall in the draft. The guys look at some other draft headlines as well heading into the draft later this week on Thursday.

For the rest of the final hour Pritchard & Cecil talk about some topics from the previous two hours of the show and some other news from around the NFL. The guys break down that and much more as the off-season rolls on!
