Cecil is live from the Shrine Game in Florida and the fellas kick off the show with who the Broncos are looking at in this game.
Cecil’s Fresh Take was on Kirk Cousins and possibly trading away the number 5 overall pick to the Redskins and grabbing the number one free agent on the market.
The guys dive into who is still left in the 2018 Playoffs and what the Broncos could learn from the teams still left. Pritch talks about how rare it is to find a true nose tackle in the NFL and how guys move switch positions a lot on the defensive line.
Cecil tells us who The Broncos could go after in the draft that is not a quarterback if The Broncos ended up getting a quarterback in free agency. Cecil says he wants a running back like the Saints’, Alvin Kamara and he sees that in Penn State running back, Saquon Barkley.
Pritch & Cecil kick off the final hour with the idea that if the Broncos draft a quarterback with the 5th overall pick and he doesn’t work out. Cecil says that the Broncos don’t want the rookie to be another bust and have to draft another quarterback in three years.
Cecil wonders if a team can be desperate and smart when it comes to the quarterback position. Pritch tells us you can be desperate without letting anyone know about it and that’s what the Broncos are doing.
