Stokley & Zach – 04/05/2017 – Brandon Stokley and Zach Bye live in studio. Wednesday’s show the guys talk about the Broncos starting quarterback situation, the Broncos third string quarterback spot and the Rockies staying unbeaten to start the year yesterday. Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joined the show.

Hour one Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley talk about three teams winning last night. The guys look at the Rockies, the Nuggets and the Avalanche all winning last night for Colorado. The fellas first look at the Rockies win and how they have been able to start the season at 2-0 against the Brewers in Milwaukee. The guys give some of their overall thoughts on the Rockies this season in general. Zach and Brandon then look at the Nuggets keeping their playoff hopes alive with a win. The fellas look at the Nuggets chances of still making the playoffs. The guys also touch on the Avalanche winning.

For the rest of the first hour Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley talk about if the Broncos should draft or sign a third quarterback this off-season. Brandon Stokley talks about what he would do if he was in the Broncos front office as the team searches for a third string quarterback. Zach Bye also gives his opinion on the issue and what he would do. The guys debate that and much more as Tony Romo announced his retirement yesterday.

Hour two Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley talk about the chemistry that is gained this time of year between quarterbacks and other players on the offense. Brandon Stokley plays off his experiences in camp and stories that he has. Brandon Stokley describes why the off-season is important for chemistry and timing with quarterbacks. Zach Bye then gives some of his thoughts on off-season workouts and why he feels that they are important. The guys discuss that and look at who has the upper hand right now in the starting quarterback race. The fellas also bring up some points on how past quarterbacks have won the job while getting most of the off-season reps.

Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joined Stokley & Zach. Cecil Lammey gives his thoughts on the Broncos starting quarterback spot. Cecil discusses what Trevor Siemian must do in order to keep his level of play up. Cecil also explains what Lynch needs to show in his second season in the NFL. Hour three Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley then get into what Paxton Lynch must show this time in camp in order to beat out Trevor Siemian for the starting quarterback job. Brandon Stokley gives his thoughts on what he needs to show. Zach then gives his thoughts on the topic and what he feels Lynch must show in 2017 for the Broncos to start him. The guys look at that and look at why Trevor Siemian so far last year has held the edge over Paxton Lynch. The fellas talk about why Siemian’s health may also be a talking point when debating the Broncos starting quarterback position.

For the rest of the third hour the guys look back at Rob Gronkowski making an appearance at WrestleMania. The fellas talk about which pro athletes they would like to see try out wrestling. The fellas also weigh in on what Denver athlete they would want to see.
