Brady: I think Manning misses football but ’not sure’ if he’d play

For the better part of two decades, when Peyton Manning and Tom Brady exchanged pleasantries after a game, it was usually at or near the 50-yard line.
On Sunday, the duo caught up again after the New England Patriots’ 16-3 win over the Denver Broncos, as documented by Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan’s Brandon Stokley.

“It was nice to see him. It was a nice surprise. I didn’t realize he’d be at the game, and then I saw him briefly before the game, and then I saw him after the game with his kids,” Brady said during his weekly radio spot on the Monday Night Football pregame show with Jim Gray.
And when Gray asked Brady to put on his reporter hat and give some insight on whether Manning misses the game, the Patriots quarterback said he thought he did but don’t expect to see a comeback.
“I think everyone misses football. He loves football so much. So much of what we talked about over the years is football,” Brady said. “Whether he’d want to ever play, I’m not sure whether that’s the case.”
Over the years, the duo faced off in games 17 times — including five playoff games — with Brady winning 11 and Manning winning six.
The two combined for nearly 1,000 career touchdown passes, more than 11,000 completions, and nearly 133,000 passing yards.
