Who’s the best in the AFC West?: C.J. & Stokley

C.J. and Stokley – 11/22/2016 – C.J. and Stokley live in studio. Tuesday’s show the guys talk about the Raiders beating the Texans last night and the Broncos taking on the Chiefs coming up on Sunday Night Football. CU Athletic Director Rick George and Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey both joined the show.

Hour one C.J. and Stokley talk about the Raiders beating the Texans last night in Mexico City. The guys look at the Raiders victory and if they sent a message to the rest of the AFC West last night with their win. The fellas debate that and look at what this seasons Raiders team has been able to do in games. C.J. and Stokley then look at where the Broncos weigh in compared to the Raiders or even the Chiefs in the AFC West.

For the rest of the hour the guys talk about Devontae Booker and the Broncos rushing game. C.J. and Stokley analyze whether or not the Broncos will be able to get their rushing attack going against the Chiefs. The guys look at the Broncos offense overall heading into Sunday night.

Hour two CU Athletic Director Rick George joined C.J. and Stokley. Rick talks about the CU Buffaloes football program and the Buffs getting another win this past weekend against Washington State. Rick weighs in on what this season has been like for CU as they climb the college football rankings. Rick also explains what aspirations the Buffs have for the rest of the season. Rick finishes the interview getting some other news and notes surrounding CU athletics this season including their men’s and women’s basketball teams. Listen to the full interview here!

Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joined C.J. and Stokley. Cecil talks about the Broncos roster move yesterday to sign wide receiver Marlon Brown. Cecil gets into what that could mean for the Broncos going forward. Cecil also weighs in on the Broncos could look to add Ronnie Hillman or if another team will claim Hillman off of waivers first after the Vikings waived him. Listen to the full interview here!

Hour three C.J. and Stokley talk about how the Broncos should go about game planning this week against the Chiefs. C.J. lists off Chiefs offensive players that he feels the Broncos must take out of the game coming up Sunday night. C.J. explains how the Broncos must keep Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in check in order to be successful. Brandon Stokley then goes into who on the Chiefs offense he’s keeping his eye on this weekend at Mile High. The guys debate that and more as the Broncos battle the Chiefs this Sunday night.

For the rest of the hour C.J. and Stokley talk about play makers on offense for the Broncos. The guys discuss how the Broncos need to find a play maker in order to get their offense going for the rest of the season. The fellas look at which players on the Broncos roster right now might be able to boost the team up.
