Siemian set to lead the Broncos against the 49ers: Schlereth & Evans

Schlereth & Evans – 8-19-16: We got you set for the Denver Broncos 2nd preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers. Cody Latimer talked with us after practice yesterday and we heard from him. Our Denver Broncos insiders, Troy Renck of Denver 7, and Cecil Lammey both joined the show to talk about the latest with the Broncos.

 

The show started with Mark and Mike explaining why yesterday’s joint practice ended so early.

The Morning Brew recapped the Denver Broncos practice and coach Kubiak’s decision to start Trevor Siemian tomorrow against the San Francisco 49ers. And the Colorado Rockies get back in action tonight as they host the Chicago Cubs.

The hour ended with a game of “Truth and Lochte”. Stink shared a classic football story, and texters had to decide if it was true of Lochte (false).

 

 

The second hour kicked off with Stink Clearing The air about Trevor Siemian being named as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos in their 2nd preseason game. Stink doesn’t think you should read too much into it.

Mark and Mike had a chance yesterday to talk with Justin Simmons of the Denver Broncos. The rookie talked about the transition from college to the NFL.

4 Down Territory talked about the latest with the Denver Broncos. Tom Brady sliced his thumb. Teddy Bridgewater got to know the bench. And the Steelers backup QB struggled.

The final segment of the hour had our Broncos Insider from Denver 7, Troy Renck calling in. Troy gave his thoughts on Trevor Siemian taking the lead to start the game against the 49ers tomorrow.
