Broncos wrap Camp, joint practices with 49ers before Saturday’s game: The Drive

The Drive with Big Al and DMac in studio talking the final day of Broncos Training Camp and joint practices with the 49ers.  News comes down that Brazilian authorities have indicted US Swimmers Ryan Lochte and James Feigen on charges stemming from their incident in Rio earlier this week.  We are joined by Cecil Lammey and Mike Klis to break down the last day of Broncos camp.  We are also joined by Patrick Saunders to talk about the Rockies slide with the Cubs coming in to town.
The Drive LIVE with Big Al and DMac meet to chat on a day that Coach Kubiak named Trevor Siemian the starting Quarterback for the Broncos’ second preseason game against the 49ers.  The guys talk about how difficult it could’ve been to let Mark Sanchez know they were going to give Trevor a look.  With camp officially over, it’s time to start focusing on business and will make Saturday very interesting.  We switch to this crazy Ryan Lochte story that’s unraveling down in Rio as more details emerge.

The Big Three at 3:30 brings up Trevor Siemian’s new found starting role for the Broncos, Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz’s involvement with the Brazil robbery involving US Swimmers, players involved in the Al-Jazeera report of PED’s will meet with the NFL, the new voice in the box of Monday Night Football and today’s practice between the 49ers and Broncos.

Patrick Saunders, Rockies beat writer from the Denver Post, joins the show to talk about the Rockies’ recent struggles, even though they won two of three against the Washington Nationals and how fun this weekend would be with the Cubs coming into town, if the Rox had continued to play well.  Listen to our talk with Patrick HERE!

Football at Four underway, our Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about today’s big Broncos news with Trevor Siemian getting his chance to start a game at Quarterback.  We als give our predictions on how Saturday’s Broncos/49ers game will turn out.  Listen to our conversation with Cecil HERE!

The third and final hour underway with Big Al and DMac talking Broncos/49ers as DMac asks Al about his time in San Francisco and the impressions he made while a member of the 49ers.  Moving back to Saturday’s game… Alfred thinks the Broncos are starting the Quarterback that the team believes in more than any other QB on their roster at the moment.

Trending up and Trending down today, it’s the Closing Bell…. Von Miller and his EA Sports commercial parodying a Justin Bieber song and Deshaun Watson as trending up.  Trending down is Brazilian justice and all of the furniture from the Olympic Village will be auctioned off.

The show wraps up with new news from the Lochte/Feigen situation in Rio as ESPN reports that the two have NOT been indicted on any crimes at the moment.
