Broncos QB battle continues: C.J. and Stokley

C.J. and Stokley – 08/15/2016 – C.J. and Brandon Stokley live in studio. Monday’s show the guys talk about who is winning the Broncos starting quarterback battle and other position battles going on at Broncos Champ Camp. Former Broncos offensive lineman Tyler Polumbus, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter and Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey all joined the show.

Hour one the guys start by breaking down some of the top news of the day as Vance Walker had to be carted off the field after a play. The fellas look into what impact that could have on the Denver Broncos defense if it’s a serious injury.

C.J. and Brandon Stokley then get into more Broncos starting QB discussion as the Broncos start another week of Champ Camp heading into preseason game number two. C.J. breaks down how he feels Trevor Siemian is starting to pull away with the job.

Former Broncos offensive lineman Tyler Polumbus joined C.J. and Stokley to talk about the Broncos quarterback position. Tyler also gets into the Broncos offensive line and what that unit might look like this year. Listen to the full interview here!

Hour two begins with C.J. and Stokley breaking down some of the other position battles going on right now out at Broncos Champ Camp. C.J gives some players on special teams that have really started to impress him. Brandon Stokley also gives some players that have looked good to him out at training camp. Brandon Stokley weighs in on why he was impressed with DeMarcus Ware today.

After that the guys get back into more QB talk as Mark Sanchez and Trevor Siemian continue to battle it out for the Broncos starting QB job. The fellas examine why or why not the Broncos should start Mark Sanchez this season.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined C.J .and Stokley. Adam weighs in on the Broncos quarterback situation. Adam gives an update on Rob Gronkowski at Patriots practice. Plus, other news and notes from around the NFL. Listen to the full interview here!

Hour three C.J. and Stokley further break down the Broncos starting QB battle. C.J. once again talks about why he thinks Trevor Siemian is getting closer to being named the Broncos starting QB. Brandon Stokley resets his initial opinion on why it’s an open QB competition but that Mark Sanchez will in the end still at leas start t he first game of the season for the Broncos.

Next C.J. and Stokley break down more of what they saw outside the QB position today at Broncos Champ Camp. The guys give some of their positives and negatives from what was an eventful day at Dove Valley.

Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joined C.J. and Stokley. Cecil gives his thoughts on the QB position and who he feels is leading that battle fight now.
