C.J. and Stokley – 8/9/2016 – C.J. and Brandon Stokley are live from UC Health Training Center to recap practice from today, the Broncos QB’s, what they want to see on Thursday in the first preseason game Thursday, the Rockies blowing another 9th inning lead last night, Tim Tebow attempting another comeback…in baseball? And the latest from the feud between Elway and Osweiler. Drew Goodman and Cecil Lammey join the guys today.

Hour one begins with the guys talking about the Broncos QB’s splitting reps on Thursday versus the Chicago Bears and what we should look for when evaluating their play and why it will most likely take more than one game to pick a starter.

Voice of the Rockies Drew Goodman joins the guys to discussing Arenado’s outstanding plays that he makes day after day, Carlos Gonzalez’s ankle injury, the Rockies Carlos Estevez blew another 3-1 lead last night and Walt Weiss is putting Adam Ottavino back into the closer role. Drew looks into today’s game versus the Rangers with Tyler Chatwood on the mound and what they need to do to get a win, as well as the immediate impact of David Dahl. C.J. and Brandon talk about Tim Tebow attempting to make a comeback to professional sports.. as a baseball player. They also discuss Brock Osweiler’s response to Elways comments and debate whether Brock was right to want to leave town.

104.3 The Fan’s own Cecil Lammey joins the guys to talk about where the rookies sit on the depth chart. Two rookies that could make an immediate impact could be Andy Janovich and Justin Simmons. Cecil and the guys dig into the wide receivers group and who makes the team and who is on the outside looking in. The latest with Ty Sambrailo’s injury and when we could see him back. Cody Latimer seems to be a lock in to make the team, hear what Cecil thinks and the rest of the interview HERE!

The guys talk more about rookie safety Justin Simmons and how he has stepped up continues make plays out at training camp daily. They expect him to take over the void left by the departure of David Bruton and to do great things. C.J. and Stokley look into who could start at right guard with Ty Sambrailo being out with an injury.

C.J. and Stokley kick off the final hour of today’s show to talk about the news that Adam Schefter broke yesterday regarding Aqib Talib and a possible 8 game suspension. Bradley Roby would be asked to step up big time and who would fill in as the Nickel CB? The guys talk about the comments Aqib made to DMac’s question after practice yesterday and what it could mean.

The guys  close out the show to discuss how teams will defend us this year. How many guys will be in the box? Does the offenses success fall on the shoulders of Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders?
