Also, Kenneth Faried is busted with weed in Southampton New York. Al & DMac say they liked the combination of Joe Tessitore & Jason Witten on the Monday Night Football broadcast team, and the idea of Dez Bryant in Cleveland after his appearance on Hard Knocks. DMac is amazed about Bryce Harper nearly going to the Dodgers, and Daniel Murphy going to the Cubs. Also, Al wonders what the next move for Bob Lee will be once he leaves ESPN. The guys play a game of ‘You Win Nothing’ with DMac’s Eric Byrnes trivia question. Also, Big Al explains why he may not be interested in watching Monday Night Football this season.

DMac tells Al the Broncos will likely need all their value signings like Phillip Lindsay when all is said & done, especially after overpaying for Marquette King & Menelik Watson. DMac asks Big Al what Isaiah McKenzie can do that Phillip Lindsay can’t, and Al thinks up ways to keep WR Carlos Henderson around. We hear from Joe Woods on the evolution of the Broncos defense, and Big Al defends Isaac Yiadom, comparing him to Darius ‘Big Play’ Slay. Joe Woods thinks of ways to work around the new ‘helmet rule’ and Big Al expects running backs to run wild in 2018. The guys talk about the VMAs, and Madonna’s tribute to Aretha Franklin. Big Sexy chimes in with some facts about The Eagles’ greatest hits album, and DMac says he knows everything about Pink Floyd. Also, Big Al wonders about the rules on marijuana & DMac thinks it’s inappropriate to have weed & alcohol around kids. DMac goes over the real reason why Colin Kaepernick will never be the quarterback of the Denver Broncos, and wonders why Elway gave any comments about the situation at his presser. Big Al wants answers on the NFL’s new ‘helmet rule’ and how to stop players running full speed. DMac wants everyone to stay cool until the NFL meeting tomorrow about the ‘helmet rule.’ Big Al wonders what the Broncos schedule will look like this week, and DMac says it’s insane to play Case Keenum in the third quarter against Washington. Also, DMac says we are still 30 years away from the NFL losing its popularity. DMac has a solution to the NFL’s ‘helmet rule’ and says the NFL can take some things from college football to help clean things up, such as widening the hash-marks. Big Al agrees, and wants to see more athleticism in the middle of the field.
