LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

The guys talk about Josh Allen at his pro-day & at the NFL Scouting Combine, and DMac is irritated that Mark Kiszla called him a knucklehead for saying Josh Allen’s pro-day mattered. Troy compares Allen’s pro-day to Sam Darnold’s, and says accuracy is an issue with Allen. DMac refers to Josh Allen’s presence, and says the Broncos would be lucky to land Allen. Troy says he just can’t see a scenario where Josh Allen falls to the Broncos at No. 5 and expects another team to leapfrog Denver to grab Allen if he’s still available in the Draft. Also, the guys think Allen would be better with a waiting period rather than as a day-one starter. The fellas discuss which NFL teams are in must-start situations for their young QBs-to-be in the draft, and Troy says Denver cannot get back to the playoffs without their No.5 overall pick starting right away. The guys talk about what Denver should do with their pick, and DMac brings up if Elway should grab the best player available if Josh Allen is off the board, including Bradley Chubb. Troy talks about the options having Bradley Chubb would open up for Denver, and they boys address unknowns along the defensive line.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

DMac runs through VJ’s comments about last season, and Troy says the Broncos were too quick in making their decisions on Kyle Sloter & Isaiah McKenzie. Also, we hear quotes from John Elway at the owners’ meetings in Orlando, and DMac says there is still plenty of time for Elway to see Allen work out again. Also, the guys decide if the Broncos trust Kubiak or Russell more. DMac brings up the ‘Baker Challenge’ about stories of perseverance & hard work to overcome the odds. DMac is bothered by Baker broadcasting his story & struggles as he tries to make it in the NFL, and the guys talk about Mayfield’s Oklahoma fan-base compared to an NFL locker-room. Also, Troy & DMac decide if Elway is allowed to change his mind throughout the draft process. The boys draw similarities between Baker Mayfield & Case Keenum, and decide if Baker will have to earn it just like Case did. DMac mentions Keenum’s hard work, and if Baker is simply too cocky.
