Watch: Outlaws goalie scores top spot on SportsCenter Top 10

In case you were out and about celebrating Independence Day Tuesday night, the Denver Outlaws not only provided the fireworks after its game with the Atlanta Blaze but on the field during it, with one play landing the top spot on the SportsCenter Top 10 list.

… And one of Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan’s very own, “Schlereth & Evans” co-host Mike Evans, had the play-by-play call.

After intercepting an errant pass just before the end of the third quarter, Outlaws goaltender Jack Kelly heaved a “Hail Mary” shot downfield.

And with Blaze goaltender Adam Ghitelman not paying particularly close attention, the ball landed in the back of the net on the fly.

All Ghitelman could do is wave his arms in exasperation.
