They talk about how the Broncos have been quiet thus far in free agency. Coach Dyer says that at this point in free agency teams tend to start looking at positions and filling their roster. Big Al brings up how a lot of valuable players will be signed very quickly and then other players will sign after a bit of a quiet period.

4PM – Big Al kicks of the second hour talking about the infamous “Butt-Fumble”, the play that marked the downward spiral of Sanchez’s career. They guys are joined by Broncos insider Mike Klis, and they talk about the what the Broncos plan to do at the QB position. They talk about why Brock Osweiler left the Broncos to go play in Huston, saying that Osweiler did not give the Broncos a chance to match the offer. Big Al asks if the Broncos will match the offer made to C.J. Anderson by the Miami Dolphins, and Klis believes that it’s a toss-up. Listen to our conversation HERE! Coach Dyer says that C.J. Anderson is a very good running back, Big Al says that losing a guy like Anderson would be hurtful to the Broncos’ locker room, saying that giving him such a low tender makes it look like the Broncos don’t want him back.
LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!
5PM – The guys kick off the final hour of the show by talking with the callers about what the Broncos should do at the quarterback position. They talk about the prospect of RG3 and whether or not the Broncos should take the risk on a guy like him. They wonder about bringing in Alfred Morris as an alternative to Anderson. Big Al proposes that the Broncos bring in RG3 and Johnny Manziel and letting the two of them and Mark Sanchez battle it out for a spot on the team. Big Al talks about how it was a mistake to not give Brock Osweiler an offer during the season and then giving him such a big offer at the last possible moment. Coach Dyer says that it’s easy to say something like that in hindsight, but that he understands the Broncos’ thought process. They talk about the importance of coaching to making players play to the best of their abilities, and Dyer shares some of his experiences as a coach. Big Al says that sometimes players who are great in college are asked to do different things in the NFL and that can often lead to failure for them. Big Al closes the show asking at what point do you take a chance on a guy with off the field issues, pointing to Richie Incognito, La’el Collins, and Brett Farve, and comparing them to Johnny Manziel.
