The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! DMac loves noon starts & Al thinks there should be more free baseball for everyone after the weather conditions. Cecil Lammey joins the show to discuss Ronald Leary & Max Garcia’s comments from Dove Valley & if he’s confident in this year’s Denver Broncos offensive line. Troy Renck joins the show to discuss the latest happenings at Dove Valley and how the Broncos offensive line should look this season, as well as how Chicago Cubs fans plan on returning the new Cubs gear they bought at the fan shop today.
The Rockies get a win against the Cubs in Game 1 of their double-header at Coors Field today, and DMac says Go Cubs Go! as Mark Reynolds crushes another home run. Cecil Lammey joins the show to discuss Ronald Leary & Max Garcia’s comments from Dove Valley & if he’s confident in this year’s Denver Broncos offensive line. Playing next to a rookie Left Tackle can be a tough task, but Cecil mentions the importance of Ronald Leary taking over at Left Guard to help out with veteran presence. Cecil says having both Leary & Bolles on the left side will help, and DMac asks Cecil what we can expect to see when the rookies come to town. The debate over Julius Thomas rages on, and Big Al thinks Thomas did not play the game the right way & that’s why he’s not in Denver any longer. Finding a reliable Tight End has become mysteriously difficult for the Broncos, while the rest of the AFC West has kept it rolling at that position. O.J. Howard falling still wasn’t enough to entice Elway to jump up and grab him in the draft, and the guys discuss why Elway had Bolles valued so high. Troy Renck joins the show to discuss the latest happenings at Dove Valley and how the Broncos offensive line should look this season, as well as how Chicago Cubs fans plan on returning the new Cubs gear they bought at the fan shop today. No team travels in Spring Training like the Cubs, and Troy gives their fans some credit. The Rockies are playing some of their best baseball in recent years, and the guys look directly to the bullpen as the reason for the late success. Closing out the Cubs wasn’t even a thought at the beginning of this season, and Al highlights the farm system and who is working with the Rockies young pitchers to help them play consistent ball. Al & DMac are dangerously close to buying in to this year’s Rockies team, and shades of ’07 start to creep in. Also, Simone Biles athleticism in DWTS and if Michael Jordan could sell his shoes for the same price as Big Baller Brand.
