The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! DMac laughs about Kirk Cousins coming on the radio with 106.7 in Washington, a competitor station to the Redskins affiliate. Cousins & Brady are fed up, and Big Al says if there is no trust between player & organization, there is a big problem.

Al & DMac debate Mike Shanahan’s interest in the Broncos, and if he could help land Kirk Cousins in Denver. The guys say the Redskins are a dumb organization, and no wonder Cousins wants out. Al says it’s going to take at least 90 million dollars to land even a conversation with Kirk Cousins, and DMac pays tribute to Joel Klatt. Al says DMac isn’t sure about Shanahan’s principles. Al & DMac talk about the final years of Brady, Kraft & Belichick together as a team, and Jon Gruden keeping his name in the headlines & watching his legend grow. Also, the best NFL playoff game on the slate, chicken wings being delivered to Cincinnati & Josh Allen playing for the North in the Senior Bowl to help his draft odds. Al says going back to the Redskins is the most logical thing to do for Kirk Cousins, and DMac says the fan base wouldn’t be upset with Kirk if he moved on. Also, DMac makes Al choose between keeping Brady or Belichick in New England. DMac marvels at the unique situation the Broncos are in, with their coaching staff set to see Josh Allen & Baker Mayfield up close & personal in the Senior Bowl. Also, why Von Miller had something to prove when he played in the Senior Bowl. Jay Gruden thinks Kirk Cousins is just not quite good enough, and Al & DMac agree someone will have to back up the BRINKS truck for Kirk. The boys hear audio from Cousins & Gruden on the situation, and DMac says Cousins wants to feel wanted. Al says it doesn’t make sense for the Redskins to let Cousins go, and Tom Brady has the upper-hand over Belichick in regards to negotiations with Robert Kraft. DMac wonders how high the Pats would draft a QB, and says college athletics turns out quarterbacks every year like Baker Mayfield.

Also, DMac explains why Talib & Harris Jr. got taken out of the Chiefs game so early. Al asks for the quick story on how Denver wound up at 5-11, and why the Broncos went with Mike Sullivan as QB Coach and Curtis Modkins as RB Coach. Also, why the personnel evaluation is so terrible right now, and why scouting will now fall on Gary Kubiak moving forward.
