The Drive with Big Al in Houston & DMac LIVE in studio joined by Gary Zimmerman who says Terrell Davis made the lineman look good. Earl Boykins joins the guys for the Big 3, tells DMac how LaMelo Ball scored 92 points in a game, and gives a current state of the Denver Nuggets. Tyler Polumbus joins the guys to talk about showing up with his ring to Super Bowl LI and when the perfect time was to put it away. Terrell Davis joins the guys, and says he’s been on Cloud 9 for a couple of days. TD breaks down getting to The Hilton & learning whether he made it into the Hall of Fame or not.
Big Al & DMac are joined by Gary Zimmerman, who says TD made all the lineman look good. Terrell was able to adjust throughout a game, and that’s what Gary loved the most. Zimmerman’s lasting memory of TD had to be from the Super Bowl when nobody was giving Denver a chance. Zimmerman says he looks forward to having a little fun with Terrell in Canton. DMac asks when the last time was Gary wore his jacket, and Zimmerman remembers the whole O-Line was a tight-knit group, while others were not. Listen to the interview HERE! DMac & Al talk being bullied by coaches, and the suit against the NFL involving concussion protocol. Al says that situation is still very fluid, and brings up conversations he’s had with former players here in Denver that may not see a dime, so it’s important to stay in the loop. DMac claims Melo was the reason the Nuggets won all those games, and Big Al is quick to remind him about Masai Ujiri. Tyler Polumbus joins the guys to talk about showing up with his ring to Super Bowl LI and when the perfect time was to put it away. DMac brings up Shannon Sharpe being critical of Kyle Shanahan, and asks Tyler if he feels the same way. Listen to the interview HERE! TD says he collapsed with excitement and joy upon realizing what was happening, and it was great to experience it with his family. It’s not about how long you play says TD, but the impact you made when you were playing. Davis talks about his college career, and still isn’t sure why Georgia called, but loves how unique his story has become.
