3PM – C.J. fills in for D-Mac at the start of the first hour of the show as he and Big Al discuss the Broncos’ selection of Paxton Lynch. C.J. says that he thinks that the Broncos were in a better QB situation this time last year than they are this year. Big Al says that Peyton Manning did not get to run his style of offense for the last year and a half of his career. The guys are joined by Troy Renck of the Denver Post and they talk about the Broncos’ draft class. They discuss the roles that some of the Broncos’ late round picks might fill. They talk about Sylvester Williams and how the Broncos are choosing not to take the fifth year option on his contract. They talk about the value of the Broncos getting the fifth year option on Paxton Lynch by drafting him in the first round. The guys talk about Laremy Tunsil and discuss whether or not he can sue the person who leaked the video of him smoking marijuana. 4PM – Football at Four starts off with the guys talking about the QB competition between Mark Sanchez and Paxton Lynch. They talk about some of the Broncos’ late-round picks, including Andy Janovich the fullback and Riley Dixon the Punter. The guys are joined by Andy Janovich. They talk about what it is like to play a position that is growing more rare in the NFL. Big Al asks if he was converted from a tailback or if he was always a fullback. They talk about what he sees his role with the Broncos being. They ask what separates a true fullback from a backup offensive or defensive lineman lining up in the same position. They talk about the lack of draft picks out of The University of Colorado and Big Al reflects on when CU had the most NFL players of any school.

5PM – At the top of the five o’clock hour the guys are talking about Von Miller on Dancing with the Stars. They talk about the Broncos’ signing of Braylon Addison, who is Big Al’s second cousin. They talk about some of the other undrafted free agents, pointing out how at least one undrafted rookie has made the Broncos’ team almost every year in recent history. They discuss the signing of Mose Frazier, who was Paxton Lynch’s favorite target at Memphis. They go over some of the undrafted players who went on to become superstars in the NFL. They talk about the incoming controversy between Mark Sanchez and Paxton Lynch, asking how long until the fans start to get restless for Lynch to take the helm. They compare this year’s QB situation the situation the Broncos faced a few years back when Jake Plummer was the starter and he was benched for Jay Cutler. For the Closing Bell, D-Mac has Mark Sanchez trending up, while Big Al has Johnny Manziel trending down. The guys discuss the Miami Dolphin’s decision to keep the rookies off of the field for the first three days of rookie mini camp. They close the show talking about how it might be more valuable to give rookies an orientation as opposed to holding a rookie training camp.
