3PM – With the news of Ryan Clady being traded to Jets, D-Mac opens the show talking about why he felt a strong connection with Clady. Big Al talks about his memories of when Clady’s career was first developing. They talk about Johnny Manziel claiming to be living with Von Miller, and how bad the video reflects on him. D-Mac kicks off the Big Three at 3:30 talking about the Ryan Clady Trade. Big Al talks about how Jose Reyes’s contract compares to Trevor Story’s. The guys talk about Bruce Arians’s comments on how he believes moms are holding back the game of football, and D-Mac thinks he sounds like a jerk. They talk about Tyler Summitt, coach of Louisiana Tech’s women’s basketball, supposedly impregnating one of his players. Big Al says that not being able to trust coaches is terrible for any sport.

4PM – The guys are joined by Mike Klis at the start of the show’s second hour, and they talk about the Johnny Manziel comments to a TMZ reporter. They discuss Monte Ball and how his career fell apart. Klis believes that perhaps there were issues relating to alcoholism that may have played an effect on his drop in performance. They talk about the Broncos offering to take on $7 million of Colin Kaepernick’s contract, and how they arrived at that figure. Klis points out that for the Kaepernick trade to go through, the 49ers are the ones that have to budge. They talk about Von Miller and how his contract situation might play out.  Listen to our conversation HERE! They talk about Von Miller and Johnny Manziel’s friendship, and question whether or not it’s the best thing for Miller to be around him. They talk about Von Miller’s contract, and how they anticipate the Broncos will handle the negotiations. The guys are joined by Thomas Harding and they discuss the emergence of Trevor story and how developing players in the minors usually works out best for teams. 5PM – The final hour starts with the guys talking about Johnny Manziel’s comments. D-Mac asks if Manziel is really all that different from Tim Tebow. They talk about how employers in the average worker’s world would respond to an employee who acted like Johnny Manziel. The guys introduce a new segment called the Closing Bell, where they talk about trends in sports news. D-Mac picks the Golden State Warriors as trending up, and asks if they would be able to beat the ’95-’96 Bulls both in a game and a seven game series. Big Al has James Hardy as trending up, and asks if the Rockets could give the Warriors a run for their money in the first round of the playoffs. D-Mac has Jordan Spieth trending down with his breakdown in the Masters. Big Al says that Under Armor is trending down because of Jordan Spieth. D-Mac talks about the Broncos holding a Pro-day for local draft prospects from Colorado. The Guys close the show with some final comments on the Manziel situation, getting some input from the fellas.
