Hour One kicked off with the guys talking about Lawrence Taylor’s claim that J.J. Watt is the best defensive player in the NFL and why he does not hold Von Miller on that same level.

The Morning Brew commenced midway through Hour One where the gents conversed about the Avs’ big-time win in Nashville last night, The Rockies’ next big time Shortstop, Chiefs Safety Husain Abdullah retiring early due to concussion concerns and the latest update of Von Miller on Dancing With The Stars.

The first hour closed with Mark and Mike welcoming San Francisco sports radio host Chad Doing to discuss all things Colin Kaepernick including his thoughts on the possibility of him being traded to the Broncos, the 49ers cutting him if the trade doesn’t happen and what he believes is the new price on him is as we creep closer to the NFL Draft. Hour Two launched with the always-entertaining “Clear The Air” segment from Stink who laid into Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay who, according to Stink, made some absurd comments regarding the risks of playing football and why NFL Owners should just keep quiet when they are completely clueless.

Denver Broncos legend and NFL Hall of Fame Tight End Shannon Sharpe joined the fellas in the middle of the second hour to chat all things Denver Broncos including the chances of a repeat Super Bowl run, his thoughts on the current QB situation and the necessity to pay Von Miller as soon as possible. He also weighed in on the ludicrous comments made by Indy’s owner regarding CTE and the steps the league has taken to continually deny it’s existence. Hour Two closed with Cam Newton’s wild comments saying he will destroy the Denver Broncos when they play again in the 2016 season.

The final hour of Schlereth & Evans began with Mark and Mike discussing who they think is the greatest defensive player currently in the NFL as well as an in-depth discussion as to who each of them consider to be the best defensive player in NFL history.

The gentlemen then revisited their conversation with Shannon Sharpe to discuss his comments and thoughts on Colin Kaepernick. They verbalized what they think his skill set is as an NFL Quarterback as well as some of the current and former Quarterbacks who are being compared to Kaepernick via their playing style. 

The guys closed Tuesday’s show fiercely examining what they believe Colin Kaepernick is actually worth contractually as well as what his trade value is in terms of draft pick compensation.
