The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Big Al tells DMac if the Broncos were going after a position of need, they would be drafting a Right Tackle, and the guys decide what QBs will already be gone at pick No. 4 overall. Al & DMac agree Case Keenum has temporarily addressed Denver’s need at QB, but the O-Line still needs to be taken care of.

DMac asks Big Al who could jump the Broncos to grab a QB next year, and Big Al says this year is a great opportunity for Denver to take the best player available at No.5 overall. Al says there might be five QBs taken in the first round year, and DMac says this year’s class is not like Wentz & Goff’s. Also, DMac mentions John Bowlen selling a portion of his minority stake back to the Broncos. The guys talk about Sam Darnold’s pro-day, and if it means anything that John Elway wasn’t in attendance. Big Al talks about DeAndre Ayton leaving the University of Arizona, and DMac brings up the Broncos ideas for a new stadium or entertainment district. Also, the NFL life & career of Sly Williams. DMac brings up Albert Breer’s mock draft, and the guys agree the Browns don’t like Rosen & are likely to grab Darnold at No. 1 overall. DMac says he is on the same page as Breer, and Big Al talks about Bradley Chubb’s transition between a 4-3 and a 3-4 defense. Also, DMac asks Big Al who Clinton McDonald is. The guys decide between Cutler & McDaniels, and if Jay Cutler is the only successful QB Denver has ever drafted. Also, Big Al begins to dive in to his point system for the NFL Draft. Al & DMac agree Case Keenum has temporarily addressed Denver’s need at QB, but the O-Line still needs to be taken care of. Big Al goes deeper into his NFL Draft point system, wants a stud in the top-5 of the draft, and wants DMac to stop saying ‘Case Keesum.’ DMac mentions Elway in the Bahamas, and the guys decide what the NY Giants should do with Eli Manning. Big Al says maybe Case Keenum can be our journeyman QB, and points to Rich Gannon as an example of what Keenum could be. DMac doesn’t like Keenum’s odds of blossoming.

DMac asks Al if Breer is correct & the Broncos trade up to the No. 4 selection to draft Baker Mayfield, what he will do. Big Al says Elway needs his coaches to listen to him a little more, and the guys make promises on what they will do if Elway moves up for Mayfield. DMac is impressed with the Avalanche & Nathan MacKinnon, and Big Al is happy Joe Sakic hung on to Jared Bednar. DMac says the Nuggets are going to need some help, and we need some playoff action at Pepsi Center. DMac can’t believe what he saw with the Zay Jones video from TMZ, and Big Al says it’s always scary to see someone that has temporarily lost their mental edge. Also, the guys take calls on Baker Mayfield going in the top-5.
