The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Derek Wolfe joins the show pres. by Ted’s Montana Grill to say the Broncos have been beating themselves with penalties. Adam Schefter joins the show to say Trevor Siemian should stick around and be in the league for a long time, similar to Gary Kubiak. Troy Renck joins the show to say Vance Joseph has been too respectful of the players in the room, and they need to stop calling plays that don’t match the personnel.

Derek Wolfe joins the show pres. by Ted’s Montana Grill to say the Broncos have been beating themselves with penalties. Wolfe thinks if everyone does their job, Denver can shut any team down, including the Eagles. Wolfe admits he was trying to do too much against Philadelphia, and that was the toughest team he’s played in a while. Wolfe says we don’t have anyone that quits on the team, and the Broncos still have a tight brotherhood. Listen to the interview HERE! Al says Denver didn’t quit, and it’s a reflection on Vance Joseph. Al says if you don’t win on third down, you can’t win in this league, and the Eagles were happy to pick on Aqib Talib. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, Big Al highlights all the fights in the NFL over the weekend, and asks DMac if Mike Evans & AJ Green should be suspended. DMac hears from VJ on why the Broncos need to take a closer look at Brock & give him another week, and asks Big Al how we will remember Matt Duchene. Also, Greg Holland turns down his 2018 player option. Adam Schefter joins the show to say Trevor Siemian should stick around and be in the league for a long time, similar to Gary Kubiak. Big Al tells Schefter he thinks Pederson & Reid might be the best play callers in the league, and Adam says don’t forget young Shanahan and McVay. In Football @ 4:00, Al wonders why the Broncos don’t call more screen plays, and DMac notes that it looked as if Denver was freelancing a bit on Sunday. DMac questions Aqib Talib’s effort on every play, and Al says he is going to need specifics before backing that. Also, Al tells DMac the worst thing you can say about a player is that they quit. Al says if the Broncos loved Paxton, he’d be starting right now, and not so fast on burying Trevor Siemian, because he might be the starting QB again sooner than you think. DMac says Devontae Booker is the guy they like in Denver, and Al says E Sanders looked good yesterday. DMac gets Al’s opinion on the decision to move Jake Butt and Chad Kelly to IR. DMac says getting Butt back would have been nice, because Heuerman & Green do nothing, and Al says the broncos biggest problem is they are unable to answer when opposing teams score. Troy Renck joins the show to say Vance Joseph has been too respectful of the players in the room, and they need to stop calling plays that don’t match the personnel. Troy says it makes no sense that Denver is still running around out there like its 2012. Renck says Paxton is not ready, and must improve his physical conditioning if he hopes to suit up as the starter later on this season. Listen to the interview HERE!

Al says Brandon Marshall played a damn good game, Joe Woods’ defense simply got exposed. Al says we don’t have the offensive explosion we once loved around here, and DMac thinks the defense was the problem yesterday. Al says hard counts and screens have slowed down Denver’s pass rush, and it would be nice to see the Broncos mirror some of those same plays. Also, Big Al thinks the fans in Denver are selfish.
