The Drive with Cecil Lammey & Tyler Polumbus LIVE in studio! The NFL draft is 13 days away, and Cecil highlights some of his favorite prospects to get some perspective from Tyler on if they can be a good fit with the Denver Broncos. Weighing out the bigger problem between the OT position & fixing the rush defense, and how Peko will rotate in to help stop the run. Aqib Talib joins the program to snatch the show right off Cecil & Tyler’s necks. Aqib talks about his upcoming camp with his No Fly Zone teammates on May 6th-7th at Regis Jesuit, and how the Broncos secondary could possibly be better this year than in ’16-’17.
Paxton Lynch & Trevor Siemian spoke with the media yesterday, and the guys break down comments from the QBs that stood out. Phil Jackson is ready to move on from Melo, and Cecil & Tyler wonder if Nuggets nation would accept Melo back in Denver. Aaron Hernandez found not guilty, and Marshawn Lynch works his way to Vegas as the Raiders work on a deal with Seattle to free Lynch from the Seahawks’ talons.
Bradley Roby got picked on & exposed last year, and Cecil asks Tyler about Talib’s last year & base salary. The guys discuss the difference a signing bonus makes, and Cecil highlights some of the better plays Roby made last year. Dean Blandino informs the NFL he will resign, and Tyler says the NFL was blindsided by the decision.
