On a short week of preparations, the Broncos were back out at work today as The Drive with Big Al and DMac break into game plan mode for the San Diego Chargers as the Broncos head to California on Thursday night.
The Drive LIVE in studio with Big Al and DMac as The Drive gets underway talking MLB Playoffs as DMac pokes fun at Cubs fans, complete Playoff coverage can be found on ESPN Denver 1600. Moving to Football, DMac would be SHOCKED if Trevor Siemian wasn’t the starting Quarterback for the Broncos on Thursday in San Diego. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up this upcoming Broncos v Chargers game on Thursday, Boban Marjanovic leaving San Antonio for the Pistons and Colin Kaepernick set to start for the 49ers this weekend. The hour wraps with the fellas talking the random reasons DMac does or doesn’t like certain athletes, including Bruce Smith and Peyton Manning.
Football at Four underway with DMac proclaiming Mike McCoy is on the hot seat in San Diego as the Chargers continue to find fun ways to lose games, sporting a 1-4 record heading into Thursday’s game against the Broncos. The fellas break down the Special Teams woes the Chargers had this past weekend. Alfred called Philip Rivers a “Great” player. The debate of the definition of the word “great” ensues. Troy Renck from Channel 7 joins the show to talk about what happened out at Dove Valley earlier today as the Broncos continue to prepare for the Chargers. We also get an update on Coach Kubiak. The third and final hour underway with the fellas looking back on how the Chargers did against the Raiders this past weekend, choking another game away late, falling to the Raiders and falling to 1-4. A caller brings up Zaire Anderson and how the team needs to add him to this defense. The Closing Bell, trending up and trending down, rings on Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian as trending up. Also trending up is Tom Brady and the Patriots. Trending down is Cam Newton for riding around on a segue in Downtown Charlotte and J.R. Smith is trending down because he remains unsigned.
