Charles “CJ” Johnson and Paul Klee filled in on this news-filled day. They led of the show discussing this morning’s coaching round table at the Boy Scouts breakfast but the topic of conversation quickly changed as ESPN reported Broncos coach Gary Kubiak has spoken with free agent quarterback Johnny Manziel. CJ and Paul spent the rest of the first hour on if Manziel is a serious candidate and what type of fit he would be.

In hour number two, the guys led off talking with Troy Renck about all of the latest rumblings surrounding the Broncos quarterback situation. Listen to that interview here. In the third and final hour, CJ and Paul discussed the release of the Broncos preseason schedule and pondered which team Colin Kaepernick will play for when the 49ers come to Denver in week 2 of the exhibition season. ESPN’s Pedro Gomez came on the show and talked about a number of topics including MLB’s visit to Cuba, Trevor Story’s start and Opening Day tomorrow. Listen to the interview here.
