KD Shakes Up The NBA, Chooses Warriors Over Thunder

Mark and Mike kick off the week by diving into Kevin Durant leaving Oklahoma City and heading to Golden State to team up with Steph Curry. Mark gives his take on the seriousness with Dwyane Wade and Denver Nuggets discussions. The guys give the latest updates on Von Miller’s contract situation. 

The guys move into the Morning Brew to talk about Kevin Durant’s decision to team up with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green in Golden State, Frank Caliendo reads Kevin Durant’s letter as Morgan Freeman, the Rockies losing skid continues and Tim Howard debuted as a Colorado Rapid last night. 

They close the first hour discussing the Dwyane Wade and Denver Nuggets rumors. How realistic is it that Wade would really come to Denver? Von Miller is among 7 players who have yet to sign their franchise tags. The guys take fan reaction to both stories.

The fellas move into 4 Down Territory to talk about franchise tag updates from around the NFL, Von Miller was on Family Feud over the weekend and his answer was… questionable, Peyton is helping former teammate Marvin Harrison HOF speech and Bills Marquise Goodwin did not qualify for the Olympics.

Stink and Evans kick off the final hour of Tuesday’s show with more of the Dwyane Wade to Denver rumors and how likely it really is. Does it make sense for either side and what would the Nuggets look like with Wade in the lineup?

The guys move into more Von Miller talk and what messages that are being sent by both the Broncos and Von Miller and his agent by the negotiations. What impact does the Von Miller contract negotiations have on Emmanuel Sanders negotiations? Stink gives his thoughts about these two guys and the Broncos must be careful.  

Mark and Mike close out the final hour discussing Kevin Durant’s decision to take his talents to the Bay Area. The guys talk about how the “thing to do” now-a-days is to join other superstars to chase championships. Stink highlights how KD and LeBron’s situations are more different than they are same.
